Marking a musical coming-of-age moment, Nigerian megastar Wizkid, also known as Ayodeji Balogun, recently hit the rewind button on social media (on his former Twitter platform) to celebrate the 13th anniversary of his debut album, “Superstar.”

The chart-topping album launched Wizkid’s career into the stratosphere, and the anniversary clearly holds special significance for the artist.

He wrote, “13 yrs since superstar! First album! Thankful for all God’s blessings. Healthy family! Blessed life! Love God.”

This celebratory post not only highlights Wizkid’s enduring legacy as a musician but also offers a glimpse into his values and priorities.

Wizkid also mentioned that he’s a millionaire in “every currency.”

Beyond his wealth, this post is an encouragement for his fans to focus on achieving genuine success in their own lives, urging them to avoid pretending to be something they’re not.

“Millionaires in every currency!”

“Real-life winners! Make sure u win in real life, no deceive yourself! U deserve it,” he added.

Ruger reveals why he squashed his beef with BNXN | fab.ng

In a recent interview on Beats FM 99.9, popular musician Ruger lifted the lid on the inspiration behind his latest singles, “Luv Again” and “Make Way.” The interview also touched on the well-publicised disagreement between Ruger and BNXN.

The tension between the two artists had simmered for nearly three years before they finally called a truce. Ruger shed some light on the situation, explaining that it stemmed from fans constantly comparing him to BNXN. While Ruger doesn’t believe comparing artists is inherently negative, he feels it unfortunately fueled the animosity between them in this instance.

“Comparison is a killer of joy, but it’s necessary for the game. This is what is entertaining these people. The arguments and all that,” Ruger said on Beat FM.

“We looked beyond that (the comparisons) and asked, ‘How can we push good music together?’ Because there’s a lot of distraction now in the music space. Some people are releasing things that are not good, but they are using money to push it and it’s flying…If you look at the ‘RnB’ project, it’s very good music,” Ruger spoke on putting an end to his feud with BNXN and working together on the joint EP “RnB.

Ruger just released a double dose of singles, “Luv Again” and “Make Way.” In “Luv Again,” Ruger explores the theme of love, singing about finding it once more. However, his lyrics also suggest a playful side, hinting that his feelings might not be permanent.

Ruger also dished on his own relationship status during the interview. He admits that falling in love comes easily to him. Despite his romantic nature, Ruger is currently single. This isn’t due to a lack of interest, but rather his packed summer schedule. With a European tour on the horizon, it seems music is taking centre stage for Ruger right now.
