 Alan Shearer scored goals for fun during his time. It is a shame that he won only one Premier League title. He will be worth millions if he played in the modern game. The English striker needed only 124 matches to score his first 100 goals aged 25 years and 137 days. He played for Newcastle United, Blackburn Rovers, and Southampton.

Manchester United forward Romelu Lukaku dethroned Allan Shearer to become the fifth youngest player to reach 100 goals in Premier League. The Belgian is also the only non-British player on the list. He achieved the milestone aged 24 years and 322 days. This puts together the goals he scored for Everton and West Brom.

Harry Kane- 24 years & 191 days

Tottenham Hotspurs goal machine Harry Kane is the latest striker to join the 100 goals club. The England forward achieved the milestone against Liverpool in 2017/18 season aged 24 years and 191 days. Allan Shearer congratulated him after the game. He becomes the second fastest player to reach 100 goals behind Shearer (124) after doing it in 141 matches.

Wayne Rooney- 24 years & 99 days
Former Manchester United and Everton forward Wayne Rooney is the third youngest player to score 100 goals in Premier League. The Red Devil legend reached 100 goals at a tender age of 24 years and 99 days. The 33-year-old also managed to break Sir Bobby Charlton 40-year-old goal record for both Club and country. He is now enjoying his final days with MLS side DC United.

Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler will never be forgotten by the Anfield faithful for years to come. He was a ruthless striker who did not mind playing dirty to help the team win. He helped the Reds lift a number of titles during his prolific spell in Merseyside. He scored his 100 goals in only 174 matches aged 23 years and 282 days. The bullish attacker also played for Manchester City and Leeds United.

Michael Owen- 23 years & 133 days

 

 

The list will obviously not be complete without the name of Michael Owen. He is the last English man to lift the coveted Ballon d’Or in 2001. The lethal striker scored goals for fun especially during his days at Liverpool. He scored his first 100 goals at Anfield after only 186 matches aged only 23 years and 133 days. The attacker also played for Real Madrid, Newcastle United, Manchester United and Stoke City.
