Every top league in Europe has its own youth league where young players are developed and then brought into the top tier when they come of age. The Youth League is as important as the main league due to the game’s development. Many club sides has its own youth team and they participate in different competitions. Today, we want to recognize the five most valuable Youth Leagues in Europe right now.

U-19 Boys League (DEN) – €4.35 Million (Value)

A-Junioren Bundesliga Süd/Südwest (GER) – €4.80 Million (Value)

Bundesliga has supplied much needed fresh talent by the famous Youth League called A-Junioren Bundesliga Süd/Südwest. This is where the likes of Thomas Muller, Philip Lahm, and Toni Kroos learned their craft.

The division is valued at €4.80 million. It has 14 clubs and 385 players with an average age of 18.2 years. The foreigner’s percentage stands at 21.8%.

Primavera 1 (ITA) – €14.8 Million (Value)

Italian Serie A gets talented youngsters supply from Primavera 1. The youth league is the third most valuable in Europe. It comprises of 16 clubs and 464 players with an average age of 18.4 years. The division has a foreign player’s percentage of 28.7 %. The value stands at €14.8 Million. This the league that produced all the famous names in Italian football like Gianluigi Buffon, Paolo Maldini, Fabio Cannavaro, and Filippo Inzaghi among others.

Premier League 2 (ENG) – €15.2 Million (Value)

English Premier League is by far the most lucrative division in the World at the moment. However, the story is different when you move a step down to the U-23 League also known as Premier League 2. The youngster’s championship is currently valued at €15.2 Million.

The division has 24 teams, 482 players with an average age of 20 years. The interesting part is that foreigners make up to 40.5%. This is probably why the Russian Youth League is valued more.

Youth Premier Liga (RUS)- €46.2 Million (Value)

Russia Youth Premier Liga is currently the most valuable in Europe. The vast country youth League has a total of 16 clubs, 474 players in total and an average age of 18.7 years. The interesting part is that foreigners make up to only 0.8% in the division. This is probably why the value stands at €46.2 million.

In his final game of the season, playing for his team, Al Nassr, Cristiano Ronaldo scored two goals. These goals weren’t just any goals though! They were his 34th and 35th of the season, which achieved something remarkable.

By scoring these two goals, Ronaldo became the league’s top scorer for the entire season, breaking the previous record!

Cristiano Ronaldo had a big night during his final game of the season for his team Al Nassr. He scored two goals. The first one came very late in the first half, just as extra time was being added on. The second one was a powerful header in the 69th minute. These two goals helped Al Nassr win the game 4-2 against Al Ittihad.

But that’s not all!

Ronaldo’s goals were even more special because they made him the league’s top scorer for the entire season. He scored a record-breaking 35 goals, beating the old record of 34 goals which was set by a player named Abderrazak Hamdallah in the 2018-19 season.

This achievement is even more impressive because Ronaldo’s team, Al Nassr, actually finished second place in the league. The champions were Al Hilal, who were far ahead with a 14-point lead.

Ronaldo joined Al Nassr in December of last year, which was the start of a trend where many famous players from other countries came to the Saudi league to play for a lot of money.

Despite playing in a new league, Ronaldo is still a star on the international stage. He was recently chosen to play for Portugal in the European Championship which will be held in Germany next month.

This will be his 11th international tournament, an incredible feat! He also holds the record for most appearances and goals scored in men’s international football, with a whopping 206 appearances and 128 goals.
