12 Nollywood Portraits To Feature In Chicago Museum

The Nigeria movie industry has experienced tremendous growth internationally this past year and taking it one step further to the world, some of its finest practitioners have been handpicked by ace graphic artiste, Ike Ude who has designed their portrait that will be featuring in a Chicago museum tomorrow, 20th of October 2016.

Top acts such as, Beverly Naya, Genevieve Nnaji, Belinda Effah, Osas Ighodaro, Alex Ekubo, Monalisa Chinda, Eku Edewor, Jim Iyke, Kunle Afolayan, Uti Nwachukwu amongst others will feature in twelve individual nollywood portraits, tagged ‘A Radical Beauty’, which have all been selected by the Museum of Contemporary Photography in Chicago, for their upcoming exhibition which kicks off on October 20, 2016.

The exhibition will also feature The School of Nollywood, a grand group portrait representing a cross section of the industry.

Akindele also works behind the camera as a filmmaker. She shared two eye-catching transition videos featuring fellow Nollywood actors Femi Adebayo and Joseph Benjamin, stating, “FINDING ME!!!!!!!!!! 👀👀👀👀👀👀.”
