This Is How You Can Balance Your Life And Your Career

As career person, it takes all of you to be able to make your life worth living.

For Years we’ve been told that balancing our work and life in general would give us a satisfied life but in all honesty this may be the problem rather than the solution.

Rather than striving for a balance between life (friends, families, health etc.) and work (career) why not try to integrate it because experts have said trying to balance is causing more harm than good, here are the reasons why embracing imperfection rather than balance might just be what you need to live;

* You have to accept that life is not perfect therefore, accept the imbalance that way you are able to decipher what you want to take charge of. Don’t be deceived by people who seem to be perfect, this people have learnt to integrate rather then segment.

* Perfection is a myth and as we strive to be the perfect mother, father, leader, partner, friend etc the struggle becomes really exhausting. In truth you can never achieve that 50/50 balance that you want to because you would wear yourself out and it would come crumbling down, so you need to give yourself days off from all of this duties.
* Life and passion are connected, trying to separate them is what causes us to go on and off, for some people their passion is their work hence they enjoy it, its always exciting if you can fall in love with what you do so you don’t have to segment your life.
* Focusing on the present would help you to reduce the stress you have to go through everyday, you can multi task and achieve a lot more but you shouldn’t do too much as you need to avoid depleting, so focusing on whats more important at the moment is all you need.

Veteran Nigerian entertainer Charly Boy has revealed how his interactions with gay and transgender individuals have significantly impacted his personal style and artistic expression.

During a recent appearance on the “With Chude” podcast hosted by Chude Jideonwo, the singer discussed his early appearance and the resulting speculation about his identity.

“Why was your first look effeminate, for lack of a better word? What was behind that choice?” Jideonwo asked.

Charly Boy discussed his distinctive fashion choices from the 1980s and 1990s.

He noted that his feminine style became a topic of conversation at the time, leading to speculation about his sexual orientation.

He said,

“I used to have a girly girl look back in the day, I used to wear a lot of rouge, makeup, lipstick and whatever, and that’s where the gay speculations started. People thought that I was that-way inclined until my friend Tina looked at me and was like , ‘nah, you need something more macho, more masculine.'”

Charly Boy disclosed that during his final years in the United States, he primarily associated with transvestites. These individuals were individuals who dressed in clothing traditionally associated with the opposite gender.

“I wasn’t one but I just loved them; I loved how they switched so I used to study them,” he clarified.

“If you remember that on the Charly Boy Show I had this character called Linda, my alter ego. That was easy for me to do because I had been around bi, gay and transgender people, so I picked all the nuances from that,” he explained.

Charly Boy affirmed that while his interactions with his gender-fluid friends significantly shaped his personality, he always considered himself a pioneer in setting trends.

I love being myself, I love to stand out, I don’t want to follow trends; I prefer to start my own trends; and do my own thing. That’s how I felt right from the day I was born, wanting to go through another way,” he concluded.
