The world premiere of Run trailer (2017), a romantic thriller by director Theo Ukpaa.

Run is a story about  Jacquelin, an uptight middle class French lady (Kayla Eva), joins a dating site in search of the perfect novel-like romance and adventure she’s always imagined, she connects with Bayo (Ramsey Nouah), a self-made young, rich lawyer in far away West Africa who has a seemingly boring life. In a few weeks she finds herself in Nigeria to meet the man behind the computer screen.  The story takes a twist when Jacquelin and Emeka’s driver becomes victims of mistaken identity.
RUN dramatically tells a story of two people from opposite backgrounds whose lives become entangled by a little twist of Fate, a story of survival, Adventure, Deceit, Betrayal and finding true love.

Run will Premiere in Paris, France and will screen in Cinemas all over the world. RUN official Trailer will be dropped February 2017.

See Complete Cast For Funke Akindele’s Upcoming Film “Finding Me”

Nollywood actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele has announced the cast of her upcoming film, “Finding Me.” From May 14, 2024, to May 28, 2024, Akindele has been revealing the cast daily through reels posted on her Instagram.

So far, she has revealed the following cast members:

  • Ariyo Oluwakemisola Apesin
  • Dakore Egbuson-Akande
  • Calabar Chic
  • Emeka Nwagbaraocha
  • Funke Akindele
  • Abdulgafar Abiola (Cute Abiola)
  • Omowunmi Dada
  • Efa Iwara
  • Tina Mbai
  • Dele Odule
  • Sharon Ooja Egwurube
  • Shaffy Bello
  • Omoni Oboli
  • Femi Adebayo
  • Joseph Benjamin

This lineup of well-known actors suggests the film could be another blockbuster when it debuts. Akindele began the announcements with a transition video weeks ago featuring some of the cast in “Finding Me” t-shirts.

Details about the film’s plot and exact release date are still unknown. The film is being produced by The Funke Akindele Network (FAAN), Akindele’s production company.

A few months ago, Akindele also announced another upcoming film, “Everybody Loves Jenifa,” from the “Jenifa” franchise, which will premiere in December 2024. She stated, “Been long you saw Jenifa!!!!”

Akindele is one of Nollywood’s most accomplished filmmakers. She produced the popular “Jenifa” franchise and delivered Nigeria’s highest-grossing film, “A Tribe Called Judah,” which earned over ₦1.4 billion.

She also produced “Battle on Buka Street,” the second-highest-grossing film in Nigeria, which made ₦668 million, and “Omo Ghetto: The Saga,” the third-highest-grossing film, grossing ₦636 million.

Akindele is the most-awarded actress at the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) with five wins, including:

  • “The Return of Sheri Koko” (Best Actress in a Comedy, 2014)
  • “Jenifa’s Diary” (Best Actress in a Comedy Role, 2016; Best Actress in a Comedy Movie or TV Series, 2017; Best Actress in a Comedy, 2020)
  • “Omo Ghetto: The Saga” (Best Actress in a Comedy, 2022)

Patience Ozokwor, the Nollywood actress who has become a household name as Mama G, is celebrating a phenomenal achievement! For a whopping 45 years, she’s been gracing our screens and captivating audiences with her performances.

To share this exciting news and express her joy, Patience took to Instagram. In a heartfelt video, she reached out to her fans and friends, thanking God for her successful career and inviting them to join the festivities.

She wrote,

“A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. My journey in entertainment started with sold-out school plays way back in secondary school and teacher’s training college. It’s time to celebrate this phenomenal journey, my people because God has indeed been faithful. Countdown begins now.”

Patience Ozokwor also offered a glimpse into the very beginnings of her remarkable journey in the entertainment industry. Patience’s passion for acting wasn’t something that developed later in life; it seems the stage was where she was destined to shine. It all began with a school play during her secondary school days.

The play was a runaway success, selling out all the available seats!

This early taste of applause and appreciation for her talent likely fueled her passion for acting. The fire continued to burn brightly even during her teacher training college years. Then another school play received the same enthusiastic response. Patience’s ability to hold the audience’s attention and captivate them with her acting prowess was evident from a very young age.
