If this trend continues, “A Tribe Called Judah” is poised to surpass Akindele’s earlier film, “Battle on Buka Street“, currently Nollywood’s highest-grossing film at ₦668.4 million.
This achievement could potentially position Akindele in the top three slots for Nollywood’s highest-grossing films, considering her film “Omo Ghetto: The Saga” currently holds the second position with a total gross of ₦636.1 million.

Rounding out the top five was Kayode Kasum’s critically acclaimed indigenous film, “Afamefuna“, which generated ₦3.8 million during the weekend, reaching a cumulative total of ₦42.9 million after three weeks.
