The Afrofuture festival 2023 is around the corner the musical headliners for this year has been announced.
This festival, formerly known as Afrochella, will be a two-day extravaganza taking place at the El Wak Sports Stadium in Accra, Ghana, on December 28th and 29th.
Afrofuture aims to celebrate Africa’s rich culture and the creative work of its artists and entrepreneurs.
The Afrofuture Festival 2023 theme, “Black Unification & Pan Africanism“, is dedicated to honoring the achievements of Black pioneers around the world and recognizing their contributions to art, culture, and innovation.
It will explore global connections and shared experiences of African people, including the history of the Pan-African movement, the role of the diaspora in global politics, and the importance of diaspora unity.
To bring this theme to life, the festival grounds will be transformed to showcase various cultural concepts, encompassing art, music, fashion, culture, and food. These areas will feature local creatives, culinary experts, musicians, and artists, creating a unique world for festivalgoers to explore.
Abdul Karim Abdullah, Afrofuture’s CEO and Co-Founder, highlighted that Afrofuture is more than just a festival; it is a celebration of African culture, people, talents, and contributions to the world. They aim to provide a memorable experience by blending the worlds of food, art, fashion, and music this December.
