Kunle Afolayan’s forthcoming movie “Citation” is almost wrapping up and from the behind the scenes photos, we are certain the film will be a hit.

“Citation” stars Haitian-born Hollywood actor Jimmy Jean Louis, Sadiq Daba, Gabriel Afolayan, The Okan twins, Ini Edo, Lola Maja, Temi Otedola among others.

The film, written by Tunde Babalola, is a university drama surrounding a female postgraduate student who has to find a way of dealing with the awkward situation of sexual harassment from a popular male lecturer.

Fans of K-drama will be excited to know that a new k-drama titled “Bloodhounds” will coming soon on Netflix and you certainly don’t want to miss it.

The series will premiere on Netflix on June 9th, 2023.

The series focuses on three young people who set foot in the world of private loans with the pursuit of money and get caught up in a huge force. The series is directed by Kim Joo-hwan and it features Woo Doo-hwan, Lee Sang-yi, Park Sung-woong and Huh Joo-ho.

The upcoming black classic movie “The Color Purple” holds a lot of expectations as it centres around music, sisterhood, history and woman power.

The movie is a musical reboot of the 1985 classic which is based on a novel by Alice Walker. The movie is directed by Blitz Bazawule and produced by Oprah Winfrey, Steven Spielberg, Scott Sanders and Quincy Jones.

It premieres only in theatres on December 25th, 2023.

The movie is about an extraordinary sisterhood, focusing on three women who share an unbreakable bond. It stars Taraji Henson, Danielle Brooks, Colman Domingo, Halle Bailey, H.E.R, Corey Hawkins, Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor and Fantasia Barino. See the trailer below.

“The Little Mermaid“, Ariel, the youngest daughter of King Triton, is a curious and adventurous mermaid who desires to explore the world above the water.

She falls in love with Prince Eric and makes a deal with the wicked sea witch, Ursula, to trade her enchanting voice for a pair of human legs. This arrangement allows Ariel to venture onto land and try to win the heart of the prince.

The movie would be released on the 26th of May.
