Kendrick Lamar and SZA have decided not to perform their Oscar-nominated song ‘All The Stars’ at this Sunday’s Academy Awards.

The Black Panther-featuring track is one of five songs up for consideration in the Best Original Song category, with the likes of Lady Gaga and Mark Ronson also being nominated.

Traditionally, the five nominees in the category are invited to perform their nominated track live during the Oscars ceremony, but Lamar and SZA will be the only artists not to perform their composition during Sunday’s event (February 24).

Variety reports that the reason given for the non appearance is “logistics and timing”. ‘All The Stars’, which was also nominated for four awards at this year’s Grammys, will not be performed by another act.

Lamar was also reportedly one of the acts to turn down the chance to perform at the Grammys earlier this month.
