Igho has established himself as a seasoned filmmaker in Nigeria’s film industry, having directed several successful movies including “Seven”, “The Eve“, “Team Six“, “Dust”, and “Nneka the Pretty Serpent“.

The director and Nollywire collaboratively shared a post revealing the release of this new project. They described ‘Suspicion’ as “an action-packed thriller”.

They teased audiences with the announcement of the movie’s upcoming premiere on the streaming platform later this year. The director has positioned this new thriller as his latest addition to his growing portfolio of acclaimed films.

Igho continues the storyline from his 2008 short film “The Suspicious Guy” in this new thriller. The director explores the lives and experiences of victims who have endured ritual practices in “Suspicion”.

The director has assembled a stellar cast of Nigerian actors for “Suspicion”.

Stan Nze, Omowunmi Dada, and Kalu Ikeagwu take leading roles in the film. The cast also includes accomplished performers Uzor Arukwe, Shaffy Bello, and Tina Mba.

Additional talented actors joining the ensemble include Ashafa ‘Small Mummy’ Salamot, Francis Sule, Boma Akpore, Tony Akposheri, and Esegine Orezi Allen.

In a recent post on her Instagram account, Abudu officially announced the series. The drama series will be returning for a second season.

Biyi Bandele and Kenneth Gyang directed the first season of Blood Sisters. However, Daniel Oriahi and Kayode Kasum take the helm for the upcoming second season.

The production team remains largely the same, with Inem King, Ted Abudu, Judith Audu, and James Amuta returning as producers.

Oriahi, known for his acclaimed psychological thriller, The Weekend, brings his expertise to the project.
