WATCH: Deleted Scenes From “Black Panther” Released By Marvel

Black Panther is one the first blockbuster hits of the season for the Marvel universe, having netted Disney more than $1.3 billion in ticket sales since it premiered. The movie preceded Avengers: Infinity War, giving the audience the chance to meet T’Challa/Black Panther in the build-up to the conflict with Thanos. Whether or not you’ve seen Black Panther, you should know the DVD release is fast approaching — and that means the deleted scenes you’ve been waiting for were just released.

The film will be available on demand on May 8th, and on Blu-ray a week later on May 15th, so if you haven’t seen it in theaters, now’s your chance to catch up.  Until then, you can watch the following deleted scenes even if you haven’t seen the movie yer, since they won’t spoil the fun for you.

The first one, shared by USA Today, shows a heated discussion between Okoye (Danai Gurira) and W’Kabi (Daniel Kaluuya). The scene makes it clear that the two are married and they’re thinking about having children. The scene didn’t make it into the film, as it apparently didn’t work into the rest of the story well enough. But this particular detail, that the two are married, is important.

Nollywood director Jade Osiberu announces her latest film project, “Half Of Me.” The talented filmmaker shares exciting details about the upcoming production in an official statement on October 30, 2024.

She confirms active work on this new creative venture, adding to her impressive portfolio of Nigerian cinema.

Jade Osiberu returns to filmmaking after taking a deliberate one-year break. She explains her time away from directing, revealing that she dedicated this period to preparing a special Christmas film. The director uses this time to craft and develop her festive project meticulously.

“If you’ve followed me for a while, you’ll know that when I’m quiet, it means I’m cooking and food is done. I have some exciting news. We made the most beautiful, heartwarming, Christmas film ever and it’s coming to Prime Video this December,” she said.

Osiberu announced her collaboration with an impressive cast for the film. Specifically, she brings together renowned actors and celebrated Afrobeats stars for this project. Additionally, the director expresses her deep gratitude for the opportunity to work with such talented performers.

“It was such an honour to work with some actors who I admired for years and some of the biggest names in Afrobeats cos what’s a detty December film without Afrobeats,” she added.

Osiberu establishes herself as a prominent filmmaker in the Nigerian film industry through successful crime thrillers like “Gangs of Lagos” and “Brotherhood.”

Interestingly, she casts Martha Ehinome, Nancy Isime, and Uzor Arukwe in “Half of Me.” However, the director currently keeps additional project details under wraps.

In this limited series, co-creators Abiola Sobo and Tolu Ajayi tell the story of Zara (Onyinye Odokoro), a young executive who enters a high-stakes corporate environment after winning a reality show.
