Last night eviction show took a sharp surprising turn from all other eviction shows in the Big Brother house, as Awka-ibom fitness trainer Kemen was disqualified from the house for sexually assaulting fellow housemate TBoss while she was sound asleep, with a video evidence which clearly shows him groping her while she slept. If she was aware of the happening while it took place can’t be said, but after been questioned by Big Brother, TBoss outrightly denied giving consent or even been aware at the time of the sexual engagement.
After he was disqualified, last night on the bases of sexual assault, fans, family and friends of the both parties have spoken up either in support or against Big Brothers decision in handling the matter. Many people had reservations as to why he was kicked out and formulating that TBoss may have connections in the BBNaija cabal, and that’s why her “trouble finder and supposed irritant” was kicked out. Sources close to Kemen’s family claim that the family is agitated that Nigerians are pouring their anger on Kemen on Social Media, saying all sorts of things about him. Also that, if TBoss wasn’t comfortable or didn’t approve of what happened on that eventful night, how come she turned to the right without stopping or throwing tantrums. The source continued by saying, immediately Kemen is back to base, they might sue Big Brother for defamation of character and unlawful justice.
Furthermore, the source is of the opinion that, TBoss is like a sacred egg in the show and she might have one or two people who are in high positions in the country and have vested interest in the show, the family claims that Debbie Rise also did something similar to Bassey but wasn’t put in the chopping board bt how come Kemen is, because TBoss is involved?
However TBoss’s family thanked the organisers of the show for standing up against the wrong done to her, in a statement through her sister, Goldie. The statement read:
“I @miss_goldilocks I’m grateful for the love and support TBoss got this week. Thanks to you all she was saved. It is a great day to be thankful to God for his blessings. I wanted also to say thank you to Big Brother Naija 2017 for setting rules to protect each and every housemate. Most might feel the punishment was harsh. But what is wrong can never be right. Big Brother is entertainment but at no moment is it Ok to feel unsafe. We as women have the right to say no at any moment. And keeping quiet is not an option. We speak up for what is right and we don’t hide behind what people expect. We her family are grateful for protecting TBoss and wish every housemate success. We wish success also to Kemen. May God bless your week.”.
Regardless of mixed reaction folding social media platforms, the actual truth is known by only Kemen and TBoss.
