Chioma Avril Rowland, who is soon to marry award-winning singer Davido (CHIVIDO 2024), had a surprise bridal shower on Sunday night, attended by her friends and family.
Photos and videos from the event were shared on social media, showing Chioma looking happy and excited in the lead-up to her wedding on Tuesday, June 25.
In one video, Chioma explained that her fiancé Davido had secretly arranged the party. He had told her they were going to have dinner after their pre-wedding photo shoot, but it turned out to be her bridal shower instead.
She said, “Let me tell you a story. I know this is an event centre, and David said we were going to eat. He was trying to get the exact location, and when we got outside, he asked somebody something, and I said, ‘This is not a restaurant. I’m hungry, I want to eat.’ Then I saw balloons, I just started screaming.”
As Chioma walked into the party, the excitement was electric.
It was her night to celebrate her upcoming marriage, and the atmosphere buzzed with well wishes. Her friends and family couldn’t wait to shower her with love. They presented her with a sash proudly declaring “bride to be” and a stunning bouquet of roses. Even though her pink bodysuit looked amazing, Chioma opted for a dazzling switch into a short black gown that shimmered under the lights.
Later, amidst the joyous chaos, Chioma found some cherished moments with her fiance, Davido. They stole a few laughs and shared a sweet dance routine, their connection evident for all to see. The night wasn’t just about them though.
The party truly came alive with performances by renowned artists Iyanya and WurlD. Their sets kept the energy high, ensuring Chioma would forever remember this night as a celebration of love, laughter, and good music.
