In an exciting reunion for Nollywood fans, actress and TV host Nancy Isime joins forces once again with Inkblot Productions for their upcoming thriller film “Saving Onome.” This marks the latest chapter in their successful partnership, which previously yielded audience favourites like “Superstar,” “Love In A Pandemic,” and the Amazon Prime Video chart-toppers “The Set Up” and its sequel.
Isime’s casting in “Saving Onome” comes on the heels of her recent accolades, including the “Nollywood Trailblazer of the Year” award and recognition as one of the 100 most influential figures contributing to the continued growth and success of Nollywood.
Set against the backdrop of Lagos, “Saving Onome” delves into the depths of parental love and the extraordinary measures one would take for their child. The film narrates the story of two devoted parents who find themselves in a desperate fight against time as they strive to secure life-saving surgery for their chronically ill daughter, Onome.
The movie boasts a stellar cast, featuring a blend of renowned Nollywood veterans like Keppy Ekpeyong and Femi Jacobs alongside a new generation of rising talents, including Olumide Oworu and Mary Lazarus.
