After a long and successful partnership lasting two decades, legendary Nigerian musician 2Baba has officially parted ways with his long-time manager, Efe Omorogbe. 2Baba had been signed to Omorogbe’s management company, Now Muzik, in 2004. This followed his departure from the music group Plantashun Boiz and his subsequent signing with Kennis Music.

Now Muzik announced the news on social media. Omorogbe expressed his deep appreciation for their journey together and praised 2Baba as one of the greatest musicians Nigeria has ever seen.

“I am grateful to 2baba for the trust, and for the friendship. I am proud of the brands we built together, the music we made; the fans we entertained. 2Baba is one of the greatest Nigerian musicians of all time and it really is an honour to have had the opportunity to walk side by side with him, watching and helping him make magic over the past two decades. My team and I look forward to now supporting from the sidelines, and continuing to advocate for any and everything 2Baba,” Efe Omoregbe said on his over two-decade relationship with 2Baba.

2Baba released a statement acknowledging the end of his partnership with Now Muzik. He expressed his sincere appreciation to the company, specifically highlighting their significant contribution in helping him realize his musical potential and bring his artistic vision to life.

“I know it’s a cliche but every good thing must come to an end. I owe a lot of my career success to Efe and his team at Now Muzik.

HoH Ballot, which will determine the first Head of House on Monday, July 29th will replace the usual Head of House challenge.

A series of challenges, including the Custodian Lock-In, Immunity Challenge, and nominations will follow through. The organizers are aiming to create a more dynamic and exciting experience for both contestants and viewers.

4. Fans can win too

In addition to the contestants competing for the grand prize, viewers have the chance to win as well through the Fave Lock-In. By predicting the winning pairs in the Immunity Challenge, lucky fans can win ₦1 million every week.

The new season of Big Brother Naija premieres on Sunday, July 28th on Africa Magic channels. To participate in voting and the Fave Lock-In, fans must download the new MyDStv app before the launch date. The old MyDStv app will no longer be available.
