Produced under his own company, 1PLUS1, and alongside his longtime collaborator, Dwight Okechukwu, “Tribal Mark” promises to be a cinematic journey steeped in both creative flair and personal connection. “Tribal Mark” follows the story of a Nigerian immigrant negotiating life in a foreign place, as well as the revelation of an undercover Black Secret Service.

Young Mark, played by Jude Carmichael, struggles to adjust to a new life in London after migrating from his home nation of Nigeria.
In all the ups and downs, viewers can expect to see how this experience moulds his already complex character as he tries to stay connected to his culture, which serves as his guiding force throughout his transformation.
The actors and production staff are 90% minority ethnic, and the project has been hailed as the first of its sort in British cinema.
“Tribal Mark” will be released in theatres for two weeks, from January 26 to February 11, 2024. Tickets will also be reduced to the price of £13.
