‘Kesari’, originally a three-part YouTube series, transitioned to Nigerian cinemas on August 25, 2023, earning praise for being one of the first Yoruba noirs to make a successful move to the big screen. The action thriller follows the story of a formidable robber armed with charms who faces a worthy adversary in a skilled policeman.
Produced and directed by Yekini, the film features Mr. Macaroni, Deyemi Okolanwon, Femi Adebayo Salami, Ibrahim Lateef, Odunlade Adekola, Deyemi Okanlawon, and Yvonne Jegede.
