Joeboy, the global music sensation and Nigerian pop star is back with a new single titled “Only God Can Save Me“, set for release on November 3, 2023. This comes only five months after the success of his second album “Body & Soul“, which gained over three billion total streams.

In addition to the single, Joeboy is excited to announce his upcoming sophomore EP, titled “Body, Soul & Spirit“, scheduled for release on November 17 through emPawa Africa. This EP continues from where “Body & Soul” left off and serves as a counterpoint to his previous album.

The lead single of this EP, “Only God Can Save Me”, produced by Debo.x, delves into the theme of surrendering to a higher power. Over a backdrop of moody synths, dark piano arrangements, and looming drum patterns, Joeboy reflects on the fallibility of humans and the need for divine intervention when human relationships disappoint.

This track reflects Joeboy’s raw vulnerability and his realization of the transient nature of human connections. It speaks to moments of despair where solace can often be found in faith.
