Earlier this year, Hero Lager launched an incredible campaign to nurture and support fast-growing talent in the music industry. Hero lager continues to differentiate itself from other brands and continues to reward its consumers not only as heroes but also recognizes its value. The brand has launched a campaign called “Uru Dia” (There is real worth within) whose sole purpose is to discover talent by organizing a music boot camp for emerging artists from South-East and South-South, Nigeria.
The Music Bootcamp organized by Hero Lager was created as a platform for these outstanding talents to collaborate and make music together and demonstrate their true worth, cultural diversity, sounds, as well as the priceless brotherhood between these artists. It was a platform where they could tell their stories in amazing ways through their different styles of music.
With these young artists, Zani Vibes, IfexG, AceTune, Ife Music, DanDizzy, SparkleTee, IkpaUdo and KodoPearl along with brand ambassadors Jeriq and Kolaboy have collaborated to create an amazing music album titled “Worthy” released by Major Banks, Barmy Aje, Kezyklef and Skitter was produced under the watchful eye of famed rapper Illbliss, brand ambassador and creative director of Hero Lager.
The album was created in collaboration with 10 fast-growing musical talents who are part of the Uru Dia campaign, the
album Worthy consists of 12 tracklists. Reflecting a diverse mix of genres ranging from highlife, rap, afro-pop, reggae and more, the album captures the essence of the Southeast and the South and presents a message of universal values.
The album aims to be more than a collection of songs, but a testament to the power of values, collaboration, empowerment and confidence. Dubem Orji, Marketing Manager of Hero Lager, summed up the essence of the album perfectly: “Hero Lager is beer for the journey; we see the Heroes when they’re not yet recognized, we see the sparks in them and fan it to flames”.
At the Listening Party, Hero Lager introduced his new album, “Worthy”, for audiences and fans to hear effortlessly crafted tracks.
