Most people always think sex is the ultimate goal in a relationship.

Sex is not the only way to connect with your partner. In fact, if you really want to get to know someone in those early days and weeks, it may be smarter to hold off on sex.

Building intimacy without sex will definitely require some effort for both ends but it will definitely be worth it.

You don’t need to depend on sex to have a good relationship. Simply talking to each other and spending quality time together can give you a clearer idea of whether or not this person is meant for you.

Here are a few ways to do just that.

Create a comfort zone

Intimacy is all about getting to know each other deeply and one of the ways to do that is to really talk, and more importantly, listen. Talk about your pasts and future goals. Talk about the hard stuff like loss and disappointment. When you’re able to create an environment where the both of you can share anything without fear of being judged, belittled or ignored, you’re well on your way to creating a deep relationship.

Share in each other’s core beliefs

To build intimacy without sex, you must understand each other’s core beliefs and share them. If this person values religion, for instance, endeavor to pray together, visit each other’s house of worship and so on.

Enjoy each other’s favorite things

Introduce him to your world while he introduces you to his. Share in each other’s hobbies. Visit his hangout spots and vice versa. Take him to the places that matter to you. Little by little, he will begin to see get a clearer picture of what your life is like and this will make him become more understanding of your choices and decisions.

Mr Macaroni criticises Nigerian politicians | fab.ng

Nigerian comedian and activist Mr. Macaroni expressed his disappointment with the state of governance of Nigerian politicians.

He criticised politicians for their greed and lack of accountability. Also, he highlighted the ongoing issue of public funds being misused.

In a post on X on December 3, 2024, he decried the negative impact of corruption on the country’s progress. He wrote,

“Nigerian Politicians have stolen and are still stealing billions and trillions from the Nation’s purse. Unfortunate enough as it is that there are Zero Consequences for these actions, it is torturous that the people whose treasury are being looted continue to defend Politicians who absolutely do not care about their existence.”

Mr. Macaroni expressed shock at the extent of corruption among Nigerian politicians. He pointed out that the stolen funds could have significantly improved the lives of Nigerian citizens.

In another post, he asked,

“How can you comfortably loot public funds enough to change the standard of living of millions of the people you ought to serve selflessly? What type of greed and wickedness is this?”

“How exactly is the Country supposed to get better when our Politicians just want to steal!!! No integrity!!! No sense of purpose!! No accountability!!! Zero shame!!! Just hardened criminals in office!!! How did the people become so hopeless?”

Mr. Macaroni has consistently spoken out against Nigerian politicians and their treatment of the people.

On October 29, 2024, he reacted strongly to a viral video featuring former Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike addressing citizens.

In his response, Mr. Macaroni expressed deep frustration and anger. Public officials’ mistreatment and disrespect of the people they should serve fuel his anger.

Outraged, he wrote,

“Nigerian politicians lack regard for Nigerians, and this is because they have never been accountable to the people. The other day the FCT Minister was addressing some Nigerians, and he said, “Are you stupid? Is it because I came down to talk to you? You are a civil servant!!!” What do you mean by, “Is it because I came down to talk to you? You are talking to the people that pay your salary!!!””

Nigerian singer Timaya recently shared his reasons for avoiding marriage. He explained on NAIJA FM that he believes it is more challenging to end a marriage than a relationship.

Timaya also discussed his parenting style and his approach to raising his four children.

When asked about marriage, Timaya said,“I’ve never been a marriage guy right from time but it can change, because marriage dey crase? I just look at it like if I marry today, would I be able to get out? In all my previous relationships, I was the one who got out because I don’t like stress.”

Timaya emphasized the importance of open communication in his relationships, as he prefers to address issues directly rather than harbouring resentment.

He explained, “If you have a problem with me, let’s talk about it because I don’t like going to bed thinking about things, I go die o. I don’t like anything to bother me at all.”

Timaya revealed that his children reside with their mothers, but he remains actively involved in their lives.

He explained,“Being a father is stressful because I love them too much but it’s enjoyable. My four kids live with their mothers so when I want to see them, I ask their mothers and they come to my house and we spend two to three months together then they go back to their mother’s. Christmas is coming and they’d spend it with me as well, but their mothers don’t come because they’re in relationships. We’re all family now so I can’t date any of them, we’re family now and we respect each other”
