Nipsey Hussle’s debut album ‘Victory Lap’ has reached the number one spot on the US iTunes album chart, only days after his tragic death.

The US rapper was shot dead outside his own clothing store in Los Angeles on Sunday (March 31). He was taken to hospital alongside two other men, who currently remain in a stable condition.

While a sea of tributes flooded in from the likes of Rihanna, Kendrick Lamar, Beyonce, his 2018 debut has now reached the top spot too.

At the time of writing, ‘Victory Lap’ sits atop the iTunes charts after scoring huge download numbers in the days immediately after his death.

The record was initially released in February 2018, after he previously dropped 10 mixtapes including ‘The Marathon’ and ‘Crenshaw’.
