A Sequel To ‘Surviving R. Kelly’ Docu-Series Is On The Way

A follow-up to the Surviving R. Kelly docu-series is on the way, according to Lifetime, the network that aired it.

Back in January, Lifetime debuted Surviving R. Kelly, a documentary series about the numerous abuse allegations made against R. Kelly by multiple women over the years. However, the network announced that a follow-up special is on the way.

Surviving R. Kelly: The Impact will be a two-hour special hosted by Soledad O’Brien. According to Deadline, the one-off will examine how the conversations about sexual assault have changed since the original docs-series aired, and it will also look at the R. Kelly case as a whole.

The RIAA celebrated this monumental achievement in a post on X on Tuesday.
