The Weeknd has hinted at a new album by sharing a piece of artwork in an Instagram post.  The Canadian soloist captioned a black and white silhouette graphic of his various side profiles with: “love this. VI”. There’s an image of him with his iconic hair set deep into the stencil design as well as an illustration of his current look.

The artwork arrives a month after The Weeknd, real name Abel Tesfaye, told a Toronto crowd that ‘Chapter VI’ would soon be reaching our ears, as HotNewHipHop reports.

Though the illustration could decorate a new Weeknd record sleeve, it seems unlikely since the image was created by a fan who regularly makes edits of her favourite artist. Despite this, Tesfaye’s “VI” caption remains a tease of forthcoming material that he has said is “coming soon”.
