Hugh Jackman has announced that he’ll head out on a world tour next year, performing songs from films including Les Miserables and The Greatest Showman.

The Oscar-nominated star confirmed the news on Twitter, days after he teased that a big announcement was on the way.  He’ll head out on the European leg in May & June next year.

According to Variety, the one-man show will lean heavily on songs that Jackman has previously performed. Alongside the two big screen favourites, he’ll perform classic numbers from shows such as ‘The Boy from Oz’ and ‘Oklahoma’.

Hugh previously won a Tony award in 2004 for his performance in ‘The Boy From Oz’, as well as appearing in Baz Luhrmann’s musical film Australia alongside Nicole Kidman. He also received a Golden Globe and Oscar nomination for his performance as Jean Valjean in the 2012 adaptation of ‘Les Miserables’.

The soundtrack of ‘The Greatest Showman’ is the year’s biggest-selling album to date in the UK.
