Award-winning actor John Dumelo and his wife Gifty have just welcomed their baby boy, John Jnr.

The actor who got married earlier this year, shared the exciting news on his Instagram page as he shared a precious photograph of him and his newborn with the sweetest caption in form of an open letter.

He wrote:

John Jnr @johnd_jnr I’m glad you have finally arrived. It’s been months, weeks, days and hours of waiting…..You look just like we imagined. Infectious smile, bright eyes, curly hair and chocolate skin.
Before I get all emotional and write a whole book, lemme let you have these few words to guide you.
You can do anything you want and be whoever you want to be just like how my dad allowed me to explore….
Never give up. Always aspire to be better and do better than before.
Be a beacon of kindness and truth in this world.
Don’t have hate in your heart or carry grudges. It is not worth the time and effort it takes when there are so many things in this world to enjoy and love.
Do not let others influence who you choose to be, both as a person and in a career, because it is not their life to live, it is yours and it is the most beautiful thing.
Think outside the box JJ. Be a risk taker just like I am and don’t be afraid to fail. Failure gives you experience. Use that experience to conquer the world.
Let God be your best friend and let Him guide your steps.
I will start reading the Bible to you soon and that’s when you will understand how mysterious God works.
And one last thing….I really don’t know how to change diapers, so please don’t laugh when that’s happening.
I want to be better than my father….and I want you to be greater than me.

Seyi Law, a Nigerian comedian, recently shared a surprising story about discovering someone was spiritually monitoring him. He explained that the revelation came through a pair of shoes gifted to him.

Seyi Law recounted how he became suspicious after noticing strange occurrences linked to the shoes. In other words, he believed someone was using the shoes to spy on him spiritually.

Coincidentally, on November 6, 2024, an X (formerly Twitter) user issued a warning. She urged people to avoid accepting mirrors as gifts.

“One of the gifts you should never accept from anybody is MIRROR.. Yes, you heard me… Whether small, big or fancy ones.. DO NOT ACCEPT MIRROR AS A GIFT!”

Her post faced skepticism from many social media users who doubted the authenticity of her claims. However, comedian Seyi Law supported her warning, sharing his own personal experience to emphasize its validity.

His account reinforced the conversation around spiritual monitoring and the hidden dangers that may come with seemingly innocent gifts.

He wrote, “I wish it was only a mirror they could use to monitor someone sha. One must be very careful of gifts.”

The outspoken comedian shared that he had received revelations on multiple occasions—once during a prayer session and another time in a vivid dream.

According to him, these experiences confirmed that someone was spiritually monitoring him. This reinforced his belief in the existence of such practices.

He wrote,

“On the 2nd March 2016, I had a vigil in my room, and as I prayed, God told me there was something in my house that they were using to monitor me and I found out it was a pair of shoes someone gifted me. My wife took it out and burnt it. Prior to that day, I always doubted people who said God spoke to them.”

“I was awakened from my sleep around 5 am on the 3rd March by a voice that told me to write down what I was hearing. I wrote them, and when my eyes cleared and I read what I wrote, I turned and told my wife that she was pregnant. She doubted it until days later when we confirmed,” he added.

He emphasized that after getting rid of the shoes, the person monitoring him stopped visiting his house.

“Fast forward, we had my daughter and on the day of her dedication, a prophet told me God has removed what they were using to monitor me in my home and that the person would never step in my house again. The person hasn’t stepped a foot in my house ever again, no matter my invitations,” he wrote.

Uche Ogbodo, a popular Nollywood actress, has revealed why she blocked Yul Edochie’s estranged wife, May, on social media.

Ogbodo shared this while criticizing May’s fans for trolling her over a recent robbery at her boutique. She added that she blocked May because she didn’t intervene to stop the toxic behaviour of her fans.

Earlier this week, Uche Ogbodo disclosed that robbers invaded her boutique and stole goods worth millions of naira.

In response to the negative comments on her social media page, Ogbodo took to Instagram to express her frustration. She claimed that May’s fans were mocking her, suggesting that the robbery was “karma” for supporting Yul Edochie’s second wife, Judy Austin.

Ogbodo labelled the trolls as toxic fans and emphasized that she blocked May because she seemed to enjoy the negativity.

She wrote,

“Toxic May Edochie fans! Unah go dey Taya ooo. Very very toxic bunch of lunatics! You people don’t own this social media. No matter how toxic you get, you can never pass Wizkid’s FC. Stop watching my videos if it hurts so bad. Misfortune is life, and it’s rotational; it will surely swing. So wait for your own turn. Allow me to enjoy mine.

“Singing Karma Karma. Does karma visit innocent person? Someone whose heart is pure and not ridden with evil? Hell No! Thief stole my goods then it’s my karma because I chose to mind my business. The real karma is coming to you for being evil and vile towards people. I blocked May because you wouldn’t let me like her pictures in peace. And she seems to enjoy the toxicity! So that pisses me off! As she cannot tell you to stop.”

Yul Edochie slams his brother over talk about his marriage | fab.ng

Nigerian actor Yul Edochie reacted with displeasure after hearing his brother Linc Edochie’s stance on his marriage to his second wife, Judy Austin.

Linc recently shared his perspective on his brother’s controversial marriage as a guest on Kanayo O Kanayo’s podcast, openly expressing his views.

He said,

“Everybody has the right to live as they shall but one man’s right to swing his hand ends where another man’s right to protect his nose begins. If a certain decision could hurt someone close to you, you must think about well.”

Linc firmly advised Yul to keep his marriage off social media. He emphasized how quickly public opinion can shift.

He cautioned his brother, who frequently posts about his wife online, to protect his relationship from the volatile reactions of others.

“Take your marriage away from social media, people need to realise this because the moment there is a glitch somewhere they’d bury you alive. This is normal and one thing I’ve learned is that if there’s something society loves more than a hero, it’s to see the hero fall, fail or die trying. Be mindful of what you put out there,” he advised.

The actor saw the clip of the interview, and he did not take his brother’s advice lightly. On November 6, 2024, he took to Instagram and slammed Linc, saying, “Ndi ‘keep your marriage off social media’ kwenu! Ndi ala.”

Yul Edochie attacked his brother, claiming that even though he hid his own marriage, it still failed.

He wrote,

“You wey hide your marriage inside house you no still divorce? Your wife no leave you? Psycos. Everybody na adviser for social media.”

“Your own life go dey scatter, you no fit fix am. But you sabi advise other people. If I post my wife one million times on my page how e take concern you? Na you buy me data abi na your wife I post? Idiots,” he added.
