Renowned Nollywood directors, Tolu Ajayi and Abiola Sobo have joined forces to create an exciting new drama series, “Princess on a Hill.” This Showmax original series is set to premiere in November 2024.

Abiola Sobo, known for his work on the TV series “Inspector K,” brings his expertise to the project. Meanwhile, Tolu Ajayi adds her talent to the mix. Her film “Over The Bridge” led the 2024 AMVCA with 12 nominations.

“Princess on a Hill” is a captivating series that delves into the themes of power, ambition, and the sacrifices that come with success. The show promises to resonate with audiences both locally and internationally.

The announcement for “Princess on a Hill” was made during the 2024 MIP Africa in Cape Town. This event is part of Fame Week Africa, a week-long celebration of African television, music, and film.

“Princess on a Hill” follows Zara, a young and inexperienced woman.

Her life takes a dramatic turn after winning the prestigious Lawson Group’s Leading Ladies reality show. With her newfound fame comes a significant responsibility: saving the very company that launched her career.

Thrust into the high-stakes world of business, Zara must quickly adapt to her new reality. She faces intense power struggles, ruthless competition, and the manipulative tactics of the enigmatic and tyrannical CEO, Moyosore Lawson. Zara’s biggest challenge lies not only in managing the company. Also, it lies in maintaining her integrity and proving that she is more than just a “princess on a hill.”
