Nigerian rapper Falz has given social media personality Verydarkman a 24-hour ultimatum. He told him to retract defamatory statements accusing him of aiding Bobrisky in dropping money laundering charges.
The ultimatum follows viral audio released by Verydarkman on September 24, 2024. In the video, Bobrisky claimed that some EFCC officers received a ₦15 million bribe to drop the charges against him. Bobrisky also alleged that a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) and his son helped secure his release from prison.
Verydarkman then made a shocking allegation. He claimed that Falz and his father, renowned SAN Femi Falana, were behind Bobrisky’s ordeal. This allegation sparked widespread discussion and controversy on social media. This made Falz quickly become a trending topic.

In a legal document posted to his Instagram on September 25, 2024, Falz demanded that Verydarkman retract the defamatory statements.
Also, he is to issue a public apology within 24 hours. Falz emphasized that the allegations were false and damaging to his reputation.
Falz has stated that he will take legal action against Verydarkman to protect his name and reputation. This is if Verydarkman fails to comply with the ultimatum.
