Afrobeats is achieving global success, with Nigerian superstars winning major awards, collaborating with international artists, and headlining renowned festivals and concerts. On August 17-18, 2024, the popular Afrobeats music festival, Afro Nation, was held in Detroit, USA. The event was a sold-out success, drawing thousands of enthusiastic fans.
Nigerian artists Ayra Starr, Rema, Kizz Daniel, Adekunle Gold, and Asake were among the performers who thrilled the audience. Ayra Starr impressed the crowd with her performances, showcasing her hit singles as well as songs from her new album, “The Year I Turned 21”.
