Actress Sharon Ooja, recently married, expressed her gratitude to designer Veekee James for creating her wedding dress. Veekee shared a video on social media detailing the design process.

Veekee recalled how Ooja approached her at church last year, wanting her to design a dress for a special occasion. Ooja knew exactly who she wanted and said both she and her family felt Veekee was the perfect designer for her wedding gown. While unsure of the exact design, Ooja envisioned a silhouette dress and knew Veekee’s expertise would be ideal.

Veekee mentioned the meticulous beadwork on the dress, and Ooja praised her for personally helping with the intricate details.

Ooja’s heartfelt message accompanying the video expressed her appreciation.

She wrote,

Just recently, he teamed up with Sean Paul for the song “Light Em Up” for their upcoming film “Bad Boys: Ride or Die.” Fun fact: Will first hit the music scene alongside DJ Jazzy Jeff, who also co-starred in “Fresh Prince” with him.

Will’s upcoming BET Awards performance isn’t his only recent musical venture.

Also, hosting duties return to the talented Taraji P. Henson. The prestigious Lifetime Achievement BET Award will be presented to the GRAMMY-winning global entertainment icon, USHER.

Nigerian superstar Davido made a heartwarming promise to his wife Chioma’s parents during their traditional wedding ceremony on Tuesday, June 25th. The lavish event was held at Habour Point Centre in Victoria Island, Lagos. It brought together a star-studded guest list including former presidents, governors, royalty, and top celebrities.

One particularly touching moment came when Davido, along with his groomsmen, followed a customary tradition by prostrating before Chioma’s parents to formally ask for their daughter’s hand in marriage.
