Nollywood actor Uzor Arukwe is taking on a new challenge: the lead role in the upcoming zombie movie, “Alive Till Dawn.” This project marks a fresh start for Arukwe, following his recent success in the record-breaking film “A Tribe Called Judah.” As reported by What Kept Me Up, the actor expressed his enthusiasm for “Alive Till Dawn,” highlighting its unique concept and its departure from his previous work.
“I have always wanted to work on projects that feel different from every other film I have acted in. I’m excited about the prospect of this one,“ he said.
“Alive Till Dawn” is the brainchild of director and creator Leo Obienyi, known for his work as Executive Producer and Story Writer on the 2022 zombie short film “Road to Jabi.” This time, Obienyi steps into the director’s chair for a full-length feature film, “Alive Till Dawn,” written by Daisy Olowu and set in the bustling Nigerian city of Abuja.

“In the chaos of a zombie virus outbreak, an unlikely alliance forms when civilians, police officers, and criminals find themselves trapped inside a besieged police station. As the night unfolds, they must navigate treacherous undead hordes, and escape the building to reach the means to a rumoured haven or become the very monsters they’re fighting against.”
The complete cast list for “Alive Till Dawn” remains under wraps, as the film is still in the early stages of development. This pre-production phase involves crucial preparations before filming officially begins.
