The song, which delves into themes of heartbreak, stands out for its exceptional production featuring a sample from Toni Braxton’s “Not Man Enough“, its catchy melody, and its use of Nigerian colloquialisms.

The single garnered a Grammy nomination in the World Music category and performed impressively on the music charts, reaching the 23rd position in France.
Notably, Burna Boy’s “Gbona” recently received a Platinum certification in France, while “Alone” earned a Gold plaque, reinforcing his position as a trailblazer in promoting African music.
