Disney CEO, Bob Iger has officially confirmed the development of “Frozen 3” and hinted at the possibility of a “Frozen 4“.
During an interview on “Good Morning America” at Hong Kong Disneyland, Iger shared the exciting news, expressing his anticipation for the continuation of the beloved Frozen franchise.
While details about the fourth part of the Disney film remain limited, the confirmation of a third instalment has sparked anticipation among fans worldwide.
He said,
“Frozen 3 is in the works, and there might be a Frozen 4 in the works, too. But, I don’t have much to say about those films right now. But Jenn Lee, who created Frozen, the original Frozen and Frozen 2, is hard at work with her team at Disney Animation on not one but actually two stories.”
Immediately following the opening ceremony for Disneyland’s new “World of Frozen” in Hong Kong, Iger said,
“For years at our Disney Parks, we’ve been creating these large immersive worlds. Essentially, they are the physical embodiment of some of the greatest stories that we’ve told…
And of course, Frozen being one of our most valuable franchises, as you mentioned, a very successful film, I think it’s just right to build the place that Frozen takes place in. It’s just a fantastic land that enables people to get immersed in the story of Frozen and interact with all the great characters from the films.”

While promoting the “Frozen” park, he said,
“I think the best thing is you visit, and you actually can meet Olaf and Anna and Elsa and all the gang from Frozen. Of course, there are great attractions, but there’s also great restaurants. I think the thing that’s great about it is you actually feel like you’re in the place that the movie took place in. And it just gives you this powerful sense of story that I think people have grown to love over the last decade.”

Disney’s first and second part of “Frozen”, achieved remarkable success, becoming iconic in their respective eras. The second part holds the title of the largest animated release ever, grossing a staggering $1.45 billion, while the original “Frozen” raked in an impressive $1.33 billion in revenue.
Beyond their box office triumphs, the adventures of royal sisters Anna and Elsa, voiced by Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel, spawned globally popular and catchy songs like “Let It Go” and “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?” The franchise’s success extended to a Broadway musical adaptation.
As Disney commemorates the tenth anniversary of this animated phenomenon, the eagerly anticipated third part is expected to introduce new characters, Queen Disa and Lord Wolfgang, alongside the beloved Elsa and Anna.
