Ariana Grande is being sued over her ‘God Is A Woman’ video, it has been reported.

A Las Vegas artist is said to have filed a lawsuit against the pop star, alleging federal copyright infringement over an image that features in the video.

Vladimir Kush claims a scene showing a woman in a candle flame is “nearly identical” to paintings he created and copyrighted in 1999 and 2000. Attorneys acting on the behalf of him and his company, Kush Fine Arts Las Vegas, filed the lawsuit in the US District Court in Nevada on Thursday (January 31).

According to TIME, Kush is seeking unspecified monetary damages and a court order to remove the video from the internet. Grande has not commented on the lawsuit at present.
