Check Out The Incredible Trailer For ‘Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse’

Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse

As much as we adore Tom Holland’s new iteration of Spider-Man, if we are being totally honest, we have kind of had enough of Peter Parker. Seriously, how many fresh-faced white dudes can play the same character before we all say “enough is enough”?

Well, thanks to Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse, the upcoming animation penned by The Lego Movie‘s Phil Lord, mainstream audiences are about to be introduced to another iteration of the famous wall-crawler, Miles Morales, and the new trailer looks absolutely incredible.

Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse, which looks like a Pixar animated film and a comic book had a gorgeous baby, will follow Afro-Latinx teen, Miles Morales (voiced by Dope‘s Shameik Moore), and the limitless possibilities of the Spider-Verse, where more than one person can wear the mask.

According to the trailer, we will follow Miles’ journey into becoming Spider-Man, as he is mentored by an older Peter Parker (voiced by New Girl‘s Jake Johnson). The trailer also shows us a glimpse of Spider-Gwen (voiced by Hailee Steinfeld), another new iteration of the character.

Like with most great animated films (yes, we already know this will be great), Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse has a truly fantastic voice cast, which includes Mahershala Ali (Moonlight), Brian Tyree Henry (Atlanta), Lily Tomlin (Grace And Frankie) and Liev Schreiber (Ray Donovan).

The film is set to hit theaters this December, and waiting will be a real struggle.
