Kemi Adetiba, Adebola Williams, Eyo Boyo and Mildred Okwo were among the personalities that graced the cocktail event to officially launch ‘RESET’, the new theme for the seventh edition of the Lights Camera Africa!!! in 2017. The event was held at Ugoma Adegoke’s Bloom Art Gallery in Victoria Island, Lagos.
Speaking with guests at the event, the Co-Founder, Lights Camera Africa!!!, Ugoma Adegoke said that the new theme for the film festival is a recognition of the weakening world order, clashing civilisations, and emerging trends, which she hopes would help “identify the error of our trajectories and retrace our steps in order to address issues in our own country, Nigeria”.
